W.H.Y. - which asks the question, Who Hears You, is answered simply, we do! The award winning Agoura High School Theatre Department, in association with the entire AHS student body, presents an “virtual” evening of student written original works tackling some of today’s most challenging issues. From climate change to racial injustice, from gender inequities to confronting the challenges of distance learning, we invite you to listen to the vision of tomorrow’s citizens, as they raise their voices to reveal a much needed truth above the din of today's 24 hour news cycles.
The Agoura High School student body is home to a diverse collection of perspectives and opinions. Looking to establish a broad reach of experiences, W.H.Y.’s goal was to create a collaborative theatrical piece centered around unity, hope and strength in our community, as well as “breaking the bubble” of conformity. Students from across our campus lift their voices through dance, music, film, animation, art and poetry and create an evening of theatre you’ll never forget.
Producers, David Krassner and Adrian Noack invite you to experience W.H.Y.
